Blue Thunder arrived!!!

I was at Wisconsin HD this morning and was told that my Sliver/Blue CUSE4 was shipped yesterday, said they would call me when it came in.Just got off the phone---BLUE THUNDER ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The interesting thing is that the "approx." ship date was to be 09/17/08----TODAY!!!!!!!!!
I have been watching the posts and getting very excited when I saw some of the ones come in, I thought that  flyingwillie was an excellent post.
I have had some where in the range of 25ish new Harley's,, but for some reason this one has REALLY got me EXCITED!!!
Can't wait to pick it up, will post pics ,,Thanks to all for listening to me ramble, I'm like a kid at Christmas,, Thanks again, and God Bless

I got SO EXCITED that I even called it SLIVER/BLUE,,,, I meant SILVER/BLUE!!

Mr D, congrats! You will like it better each time you look at it and ride it.  It is amazing.  I did the tail/running light install today on the luggage rack (that should have been stock since it was only $50) and it was a easy install but does take time. It is a must for that luggage rack.  Looks really good.  Good luck and enjoy.
Keep the rpm's below 3000 in the low gears for the first 50 miles and then avoid constant speeds for the next 450.
You will hear more noise in the 5th gear (I thought a fire truck was following me) but 6th is SWEET.  Once we put some noise on the exhaust all will be well.
Send pics when you take delivery. :P

Congratulations!!!   I have the same color combo ordered but mine's not been so easy to get... Shipping date has changed 3 times: Sept. 5th then Sept. 12th now Sept. 18th and I ain't holding my breath!!

Please post some pics when you can so I can at least  look at one <grin>

Congrats on the new ride...can't wait for you to post some pics when you get her.  I looked at a "Blue Thunder" today at a dealership.  It looked really nice.  Very nice color combination.

I am having the dealer install a chrome inner primary, as I have done on all my bikes, also HD Lo Profile shocks to lower backend a touch, again I have done that on all the others and it works well for me.
I already have a set of chrome Brembo Calipers, the rear luggage rack lamp assy,passenger grab rail with covers, HD LED taillamp, my Garmin Zumo, and Hog Tune speakers, along with some more chrome.
Will post pics ASAP,, Thanks to all again, and God Bless!!
