Sequence of manufacture
« on: September 08, 2008, 07:46:19 PM »

We got our 2000 CVO Road Glide about a month ago. We love it.

It is in great shape (looks like new) and has about 45K miles on it.

Somebody said that Harley built about 700 of these in 2000.

Can we tell from the serial # where ours was built within that production run?

Thanks for your comments!

Welcome to the board, Jack! :2vrolijk_21: :beerchug: :drink:

What color 2000 ya got?  They made 730 B/O/W and 685 R/R/R.  See here: http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=17359.0

No way to tell where your bike falls in the production run that I'm aware of. :nixweiss:

Let's see some photos of your bike when you get a chance!

Whoa!  That looks eerily similar to Screamin's old bike :nervous::

From your pic I would say that Screamin's old bike is our new bike and that is probably his new bike in the foreground!

That is a great looking bike, be very proud of what paved the way for the 09's!  I love the eagle, the color!
