Rinehart v BUB 7

If anybody is interested in a comparison between the systems, the attched Dyno information may be useful.

The first chart is the Rinehart True Dual system.

The second chart shows the BUB 7 system.

Blue = Stock
Green = Without Crossover
Red = With Crossover

It would seem that both systems are a good choice with similar performance. Consequently the only difference is likely to be sound and I understand that the BUB 7 system is a couple of Db quieter than the Rineharts - but I don't have any numbers.

2 questions:

Where did you obtain the above dyno charts?

and

What bike/engine combo was used?

I am sorry to say that all of the data (both charts) is a direct comparison of the exhaust systems on an otherwise standard stock Harley. So this is all comparable data on a 1450 (not CVO) engine. That was the best that I could get from a family member who obtained the data direct from BUB.

Thanks for the info.  The set with the crossover and a SERT will likely be my next mods.

The cross-over does seem to give slightly better numbers, but I just love the clean lines from the True Duals.

I'm just the opposite, I prefer look of 2 pipes on the right side with the split exhaust coming out the back.  I also like how the BUB 7s accent the vtwin, much like the 2009 HD touring exhaust does.

Coincidence, I think not.
