Jenni Seypta
« on: September 17, 2008, 09:37:29 AM »

I just picked up my 2006 SE Fat Boy on Monday and over the weekend I was doing some research on warranties when I came across nearly everyone raving about this woman at a dealership in Cincinnati who offers 20% discount on warranties.  As I was picking my bike up Monday afternoon and, according to Harleys brochure, I need to buy the warranty at time of delivery I was excited about getting a 20% discount if possible.

I spent all morning and most of the afternoon calling that dealership, nobody ever answered.  I then sent a fax thinking they were having problems with their phones, my fax machine said the fax was delivered fine.  I kept calling and then once I got a message so I left a voicemail and heard nothing back.  I would up buying the warranty from the dealership.

Does anyone know if something is wrong with the dealership she works for as I have yet to hear back from my voicemail or fax.

One of the more experience customers of Jenni will no doubt jump in here but are these the contacts you are using?

Let us know if you get through 'cause I need to send some money her way as well.

That was the number.  Half the time it rang about 10 times then went silent.  A few times I got a recording and did leave a message and of course sent a fax.  I haven't tried it since Monday morning so perhaps they did have a phone problem on Monday.

One other thought, Ike beat the hell out of the Dayton Cincy area. Very likely they were dealing w/ storm issues.

My thoughts as well.  I heard several hundred thousand were still without power in the Cincinnati area.

Can buy the warranty at any time as long as bike is within the original 2-year factory warranty.  But if wait beyond 90 days (I think that is the time frame) then there is a 'surcharge' of about $150.  I just got mine last week and I waited until my bike was 22 months old.  Of course if the tire & wheel optional coverage is important to you then need to purchase the extended warranty right away.

Jinni is on vacation until next Tuesday and they have an new trainee in there which is overwhelmed. I had problems trying to get though on Monday and Tuesday also. However she is answering her emails. I'll ping you off line and share her email address with you.

I didn't even think hurricane Ike got as far as Cincinnati.  This is what I get for the only thing I watch or read about is baseball.  In any event, I had to buy the warranty so I got it from my dealer.

Hopefully I can give her some business in the near future.  I appreciate all the responses.
