Trying to Find Exhaust header
« on: September 21, 2008, 05:54:43 AM »

I'm trying to find a set of true dual exhaust header that will work on my 08 Ultra. These header have to be able to use OEM size mufflers. I have V&H now but they are to close to the brake and was hitting the brake before.

Mine hit.  They can usually be adjusted not to hit.  Everytime the dealer did work on the top end, it came back hitting.  Mark where the pedal is hitting, take the pedal off, use a dremel tool and remove some aluminum.  You can get it very smooth and throw some clear "to coat" or nail polish on it.  Very inconspicuous.  Quick and cheap.  The floorboard needs to be removed, very easy.  The difficult part is the little cotter pin on the back side of the pedal.
