Detach passenger sissy bar sizes

Does anyone happen to have or used both the “standard” and “short” detachable sissy bar?  I already have the standard from a previous bike but wanted a lower look.  I can’t really tell if there is that much difference in the two.  Isn’t the 2005 SEEG the shorter version?  PN 52933-97B is the standard and 52935-04 is the short.  This is for 2008 and earlier.
