Has anyone changed bars on 09 SERG? I want to put chubby 10" bars on my 09 SERG. What has to be changed to clutch and brake lines? Thanks Roger

I just put the Wild1 chubby 10" bars on a 2000 SERG.  Then rode with them back and forth to Maggie Valley and played with them more while there.  All for a test ride for the bars of course.  Really really liked them.  Nicely positioned bars; at least for my arms.

On the 2000 the clutch cable and idle/throttle cables were fine.  Did have to change the brake line.  Needed a +4" line for the brake line.  Is the 09 line segments allowing the upper section to be changed by itself?  And has anyone ever figured out why the ABS bikes supposedly can't be bled anywhere but at the dealership (I still don't believe that one)?

Just found out that my '03 Road Glide Buckhorn bars will not fit my new 09 SERG. And they don't make the Buckhorn style for the new bikes. I really liked the Buckhorns, as they fit well and allowed me to ride all day without my shoulders getting sore. Hope they come out with them in Jan.

Buckhorn bars were my favorite of all Harley Bars.

Can a set of 08 Buckhorn bars be fitted for an 09 SERG. WIth the electronic throttle and extra hole in the center of the handlebar for cables? Has anyone attempted this?
