Welcome Kruisin!  Have to agree with Spiderman.  The new technology (frame, engine, brakes) makes for a better and safer ride.  If money is not the issue, get the SERG 3.  There are no bad choices, though....

I love the look of the 09 but can't see spending the $$ for one ($31k, no lowers and no TP), then 1K service, etc, etc...

I think I would prefer the older model (triple red, or charcoal). Since I already have a 00 RK thats loaded with extras and haven't had a bit of trouble with. I figure a well cared for older SERG is my next step. Then might move on to the newer ones once the new chassis and bugs are worked out.
