We got out on our scoots yesterday as well. Could have easily ridden Saturday too - temps in mid 70s and blue skies, but work - and home work begged attention, so yesterday, when Jamey was finished with the early Sunday Shift at work, we jumped on the bikes and hauled butt to meet with one of our HOG chapters and a ride to Williamsburg for a Chapter Challenge. The Challenge is a dropped gauntlet - which chapter can get the most members - preferably on bikes - to ride to one locale and rack up the most miles. So the points are based on members present, bikes ridden and miles covered. Well, as in the past three years this one was the same. The HOG chapter that we used to belong to for several years in Northern VA spotted us, and the current chapter both wanted us to lead about 20 of us to a lunch spot so we could catch up on missed hours the past couple of months to a year. The weather was fantastic, pushing the bagger through some great twisties was a blast, the company was priceless and all in all ------------- This Sunday was good for mind, body and soul. Thanks for letting me share.
