so I got the book and also a letter telling me that the hd tech department would be sending me a letter about a product upgrade that would be good for up to two years following the receipt of the letter.  anybody know if this is the upgrade from earlier this year or if it is yet another upgrade from the motor company?

Seems kinda slow getting to you.  Most of got the letter way before the book.

yeah it is kind of a funny thing...I got a letter a couple of months ago, had the upgrade done.  now i got a book with a new letter dated Oct 30, 2008, which would seem to me to be another upgrade since it is dated at least two months after the previous letter and upgrade program.  just asking?

What was the first letter/recall that you got ??

If it was for the 110 head/gasket recall then thats what the second letter and book are about.

wife received package today, the book is 2" thick...only looked at first few pages...looks really cool...got the letter couple months ago, don't drink the kool-ade!
