Zumo Powerlet Powerbar & Techmount quick disconnect
« on: November 20, 2008, 12:51:29 PM »

Has anyone tried this on an 09 SEUC?

I've looked at Powerlet and don't see the same parts as in the previous post.  I was going to call and then I started adding up the cost. Whew, several hundred dollars for a mount.  Maybe there's a better alternative.  The GPS in the radio is worthless so I bought a Zumo 550.  Now I need to mount it.  I believe my handlebars are 1" although that seems small for internat wiring with the heated grips and all.  I'd really like to get something on order so I can install it over Thanksgiving.  I thought I saw a mout that locked the Zumo.  Not sure I'd do that with $500+ sittting on the CVO.

Ram Mounts are very good. I have one for my Zumo 550. Many miles with no probs. Very versatile as well.
