Why are you disconnecting the ACR's? what is the benefit of this? Are you worried about staining the starter?

Who are you asking :nixweiss: ?

Or is it a generic query to anyone that might have?

I wasn't aware that anyone was disconnecting/disabling the ACR's, at least not on purpose.  Plenty have had them become disabled due to defects, some have had them accidentally disabled when downloading new maps with a SERT.  The only reason I can think of to disable them on purpose would be to replace them with a manual CR, or after installing cams with more duration and overlap that drop the cranking pressure to the point they aren't needed.   :nixweiss:

This was a totally generic question, I was just reading some of the post and saw that some people had them "disabled" or disconnected.
This just was puzzling to me  :nixweiss:

Probably should have asked the question in the thread where you read that they were disconnecting or disabling them.  I mean to get an answer to your question. :nixweiss:
