If anyone is wondering it was not the name that I was talking about. It is the general feel of the site. A project passed down from class to class? Why offering jobs and all the other stuff? I guess that's to make the site look pretty.
Look at the power outage Florida suffered awhile back. Our government was hiding the real cause from us for days and days. they finally tell us it was the PRC probing our networks for vulnerabilities, then they also say that the power outage that hit the northeast and parts of Canada might have been the cause of that outage.
This Internet that ex-vice president gore invented is a danger to our security, as well as our Southern border. It's like when I rode to the Grand Canyon from here. Out there every night there was something on the news about the border. In Florida though you rarely hear anything about the border and I suspect it is the same in other parts of the country. This country needs help with it's security and I don't think we will be getting any with this administration or the next. As long as you are in bed with the problem it will never go away.
I am all for helping our students because they are our future, but it would be nice if when we are asked to do something for them it would look like it is for them.
Sorry, if anyone's feelings are hurt, but the truth hurts sometimes!
 Also remember their are Americans and their are U.S. Citizens.

It was on FOX 13 News in the Tampa Bay Area.
I do not go to the so-called patriot sites and read their propaganda if that is what you are trying to infer too.
FOX put it out there. It was in a news report telling/selling us about the supposed new AF Cyber Command(not sure if that's the correct name),just before telling us it was on hold. Whether there is any truth, half truths or anything else to it I do not care one way or the other.

Grid stability has been an issue pre 911...More scada (supervisory control and data acquisition) for electrical transmission and distribution grids is i/p based now and thus opens the door.  Vendors have been hocking patchware for years...

Back in the day it was too hard to gain access for too little control. There is some thing to be said about old fashioned analog/digital hard wire control.. Things appear to be moving to wireless for what is worth in weather I do not know..

The new regs has generated reams of reporting requirements however guaranteeing a continuing stream of headaches and a job for me......

Well there is classified and then there is classified. I don't think it is much of a secret to anyone who uses the web a lot. The PRC told us long ago that they were going to have a major war with the US by the year 2020. At the rate their tech is improving, their spying, and the people in our gov just giving them our tech there won't need to be a war. We will just have to hand over the keys to White House. I think I'm done with this topic, if I go on any longer my real feelings about the PRC will come out.
