Who can you trust in the San Francisco Bay Area to wrench on your bike? Is there a shop around here that can work on/dyno tune a 110" properly? Lemme know...

He is closed till Monday, but call him, you won't regret it!

i have used just about everyone in the Bay area since i bought my bike in 1991. Dudley, Dron, Golden Gate, Valejo etc. and i used a bunch of independents over the years as well.
I have also used Jim a few times. He is definately one of the best. He knows the bikes so well, allows you to watch and most importantly you can tell that he works on your bike like it is his - great attention to detail. For me, his location is a bit of a hassel but its worth the slight inconvenience.  The only other independent shop that i really like is Kurt Taylor's custom design studio in Novato.  The advantage to Kurt is that he paints and fabricates so if you need one stop shopping, they are great.

good luck

Jim at Metal Dragon is your guy.  His location sucks, cause he's not in Sacramento......but we still take our bikes to him.  I think it's pretty safe to say that Jim has worked on more CVOs than any other wrench that I've known.  His shop is always full of members from this site.

Many folks are getting acquainted with Lance over at Guideras Harley in Yuba City. Lance is the areas only dyna expert to trust. He has tuned all my bikes with perfection and he will be getting my 131 Jims shortly. This will be an interesting experience to share. He pulled over 100 horse and 100 ft lbs off my stock 2004 103 inch in a matter of minutes. I think i left my Dyna sheet in the trunk DC-Fireman now has. DC-Fireman, can you check the trunk and post that Dyna sheet, it would be an interesting share.  :2vrolijk_21:
