Not yet!!!!! You must remove the engine from the frame and split the cases, remove everything form inside and then have your cases bored to accept the larger cylinders. While you have the cases apart you might as well do the timken bearing conversion. Then you reassemble and go faster.

I have checked with about 20 harley dealers as I was interested in the results of this 4 inch jugg and piston combination to make a 113 out of our motors.   I also agree with Dawg on this one if your in there cases are already apart why not go to the prefered bearing in the bottom end :)  Consider though you will probably need to go with a larger throttle body to support the fuel this will want to have to feed the beast.

Anyone with info's please share em inquiring minds just gotta know.   I just dont want to be the test lab rat ...

How does the Jims 120 kit compare to the 113 MOCO kit in terms of cost vs. performance gained?

Inquiring minds want to know........... [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

The 113 with the HTCC heads and decent gear drive cams , (Woods , Andrews) you could easlily match the rated JIMS output 121 Horses at 125 ft/lbs of torque, Jim's  own 116 stroker kit shows 130hp and 145lbs ft.  There are anumber of 107 dyno charts on Dewey Jelen's site ( head machinist extrodinaire)  that have over 120/120  http://www.deweyspegs.com/dynos.html, Johnson Enginnering Tech has a 116 cu" Twin Cam (131 HP, 141 ft lbs torque) package http://www.johnsonenginetechnology.com/JETPAGES/packages/116_twin_cam_carbureted.html

Seems to me it would be just as simple to go with a proven S&S solution. I put over 60K miles on my 113 from S&S with their .600 cams and a Super G carb. Last dyno was 118 HP and 126 torque. If it had not been for a failure of the Rev-Tech 6 speed, I'd still be riding it. Came right out of the box with everything but the ignition, carb and charging system and dropped right into my 89 FLHS frame.  I say "why re-invent the wheel". My guess is that your old motor is worth more than you think to a shop in your area and it makes the overall cost of repowering even less.
Happy riding

To some of us the fun part would be having a 113 that still looks like a stock 103.

S&S does have a 124 inch TC style motor, 129 HP, 137 TQ, around $10k for polished.  See Drag Specialties Fat Book   http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook/prod_detail.asp?productID=71531

Yep.  That would be my intent and what attracts me to the possibility of doing this upgrade.  So, along those lines, the thing that would concern me the most is leaving too much HP & TQ on the table by using the stock SE 103 heads.  In order to keep the stock appearance of the scripted heads, you'd be forced to do some re-work which can get expensive and it's also difficult (as least for me) to find someone to trust with this kind of work.
