PRODUCT 905 UPGRADE WAITING
« on: October 19, 2008, 12:19:23 PM »

I took my brothers seuc for up 3 weeks ago because dealer said they had to have bike to order parts and they should have them in 4 days .Well it's been 3 weeks and he is 89 on back order list ,so I asked them  to try and order mine now so in 4 weeks when my appt. comes up they could have the parts to fix mine. They said harley would only do one at a time, and the saga continues.I've been having starting problems either ecm or acr's not working on starts sometimes kicking out starter making me look look like a fool that don't know how to start a bike. That also doe's good for harleys rep on making nice bikes when people at gas stations here all that racket. Well I think mon. morning I'll go through the customer service wait line  thing and see if the ball rolls or not. Maybee if they make me keep waiting they will put at new starter on now and check out starter components when in for fix ,so I won't have to get it later when it goes out . ride safe JDO

Complete BS your dealer is jerking you around. I am also waiting for my parts that I agree with but They DO NOT HAVE TO BE ORDERED ONE AT A TIME AND THEY DO NOT NEED YOUR BIKE THERE TO ORDER THEM.
All they need is a VIN number. My dealership is waiting on the parts for 3 different bikes(mine included) and none of them are sitting in the service dept.

And by the way mine was starting to act up on the starting like you.
