One More Seemingly Odd Behavior...
« on: January 08, 2009, 11:45:36 PM »

When creating a post, I have noticed that if I preview a post and then post it, I often get a message saying my session has timed out. Fortunately, I can click on the Post button again and it posts just fine. It's just kinda aggravating to have to post the message twice to get it to take.

Am I the only person having this issue?

Oh, and remember... IE8 beta here...

Thanks!

Yup, I get that fairly often if I type a fairly long post and then go back to edit my mistooks before posting.  I just hit the post button again and it's fine.

Then you'll be like Howie.

Mine's been set to "forever" since the site software was changed way back when, and I still get the "timed out" message when posting if it takes me a little while to actually hit the post button.  It doesn't hurt anything, I don't lose what I typed, I just have to scroll down and hit the post button again.

Jerry

PS - I would like to receive extra credit from the moderators for the huge amount of restraint I've demonstrated by not commenting on the highlighted portion of the Admiral's post.  My fingers are twitching, but I'm determined to be good for a change.

Well stop making mistooks.  Sorry Jerry, I could not resist.  I thought Howie would have nailed you.
