problem with 07 SEUC

After getting bike back from 0905 upgrade the radio has been acting up.  When the volume reaches the 8th bar on display it cuts in and out repeatedly.  :help:  Anyone else had this kind of issue and if so what was the fix.  Thanks

This could be a symptom of a bad ground. Take it back to the the dealer and have them look for a bad ground connection. There is a ground cable up at the front of the frame near the neck on the right side of the bike and also one on top of the triple tree.

I would bet Jim hit it right on the head. When they had the bike apart for "THE FIX" they removed a ground or broke a ground somewhere along the line. Now all they have to do is find it.

Sadly, the dealer, instead of just looking for the ground they left loose, will spend more time trying to figure out to cover under the MOCO warranty than actually fixing it on their dime.  Sorry to be negative.  Hope you get it fixed to your liking.

How about the amp ground cable? It is in front of the battery on the 07,inside the frame. There are two studs with 10mm nuts on them.

Check the gain and volume on your CB, sometimes it can interfere with am/fm reception.  I know this sounds strange but it caused me some problems.  I think there was a thread on here about this a few years ago.
