if you have the basic 10.0 compression motor, replace cams with 251, add hpi 55mm/s.e injectors and you're golden

they also have a 10.5 compression motor...if you get that one, go with s.e.258 cam

I say s.e. cams 'cause they're cheap...you could use the equivalent andrews, wood, t-man, etc

MrMagoo,

When I spoke recently to Jim's about the 120 / 131 to have a game plan in place with the new 09 bike they recommended the 58 mm to me.  I have a 62 on the 124" but it is not a stock motor either.  In the past they were recommending the 54 mm throttlebodies, but have since upgraded that to a 58 which they will be delivering themselves in the near future you can find them on their site.

If you are looking for longevity / touring and trailering my recommendation to you is to get a MasterTune, the 120 motor and a decent breathing pipe with open air cleaner and the 58mm throttlebody.   Unfortunately if you have TBW you wont be able to get a horsepower inc limiting you atm to HD's.    Several buddies of mine have the 120's stock with D&D pipes, and 54 / 58 mm throttlebodies.   The bikes run good and have been reliable thus far.   There was a recall on their lifters on some of the older models.

I personally would not go for all the gusto (131) "based "on your criteria above and that is not because you couldnt get away with it, but because that motor (120) is at least time wise proven.   I would reach out to Hogsbreath to see how he likes the bike its a stock 120.

The MasterTune will allow you to help tune the bike yourself if you are so inclined with the Vtune.   they make it very easy to do provided you have a laptop that you can use for this.

Just my 2 coppers.

If you don't care about the additional cost and that you will never recover the additional money you will have spent doing what you propose, have at it.
Personally, if I don't have room in the bike's bags to carry it or on the luggage rack of the tour pack , I don't need it or else I should be taking a car, rather than pulling a trailer with a bike. Reminds me of a George Carlin comedy bit about people and their stuff.
