Ok, only being on this site for a couple of days now has kept me busy, so I apologize for so many posts that I could not find in the search.  I have an 07 SEUC with the leather tour pack that I am considering changing to a painted matched king pack.  I searched and found several photos of some that have done the same thing, but am looking for some detailed instructions as to what it will take and a ball park as to what it will cost.  Can I buy the paint (black and cherry ice) from harley to match or is it cheaper to have someone local do it?  If I can find a used king pack, what years will fit on the 07 if anyone knows?  Any issues with the amp underneath?  Any information would be great and thanks again.

If you could find a used tour pak on e-bay they usually are cheaper than buy parts from harley.The new style tour paks have the bottom lights wrapping around the back of tour pak a inch or two. Wiring in the leather tour pack will work for both.Speaker pods will work, but you will have to drill new holes or get new pods off a ultra.The paint is a vibrance red with a some kind of fire mist gold base and that base is what was used on the overspay on the black.The black you can use vivid black and add some metalic to get the ice.If you need any more help pm me.

A number of people I ride with have changed their leather packs out for the king tour. There have been no problems with the swap that I know of. In California due to the EPA chit you can not buy the paint from Harley, so you have to find a painter to match your bikes paint work. I'm not sure how Harley deals with this in the balance of the US as their regulations are different. The amp fits in the same spot under the tour pack along with the antennas. If you are going that far you may want to have the amp relocated to one of the side bags and use a detachable mount available from Harley. Just a thought......

That does look great, thanks.  My bike is the black and cherry candy red which may be a little harder to match.

We have 2 seuc's in family orange and black,and red like yours . The colors I put in first reply were for the red like yours when I find a pic I will post. If you go to a ppg store and take their vibrance paint chipe to your bike the one that hat has firemist gold base is match and base is the overspray on the black.  ride safe jdo
