I only came up with 48 on the first count.

Do shocks, grease guns and stuff like that count? They have pistons and cyl's. :)

The only carbon footprint I get terribly concerned about is when I step barefoot in the spillings from the BBQ.

HeHe!!! Let's see how much carbon we can create by looking at our carbon footprints!!! Dopey tree huggers can't make up their minds what to target anymore!!! ::) ;D ;)

The TreeHugger investigative team has uncovered a new major source of greenhouse gas emissions that will challenge our best minds. It appears that there are about 3,000 carbon footprint calculators on the internet, each with an approximate size of 200 meg, with some huge databases out there with hundreds of megs, possibly totalling 600,000 megs of data. Then Google tells us our researchers determined that there are 34,000 pages on the internet referencing carbon footprint calculators, each about .5 meg, totalling 17,000 meg, totalling almost 620,000 meg of data.

Our wizard Mark informs us that it takes a pound of coal to generate the power to store 20 meg of data for a year, so that means it takes 31,000 pounds of coal to keep those calculators and pages referring to them operating. Burning a pound of coal creates about 1.6 pounds of CO2, so carbon footprint calculators generate 51,000 pounds, or 25 tons of greenhouse gases.

DOPES!!! :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

that includes  lawn & garden stuff. So my question now is does the lawn, garden, & trees ect  (green growing stuff) offset the nasty equipment we use to maintain them?

Great investigative work, Howie!   :2vrolijk_21:

Looks like these tree huggers have their carbon foot stuck in their mouths.   I can think of a better place to stick a foot in a tree hugger though......   :huepfenlol2:

That's as wild as the EPA wanting to impose gas emmissions tax on farmers for their cows farting:

and findings from the EPA:

no chit, not making this up... :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

2012 is coming! +/- a couple of years for calendar mistakes.

My dog has a carbon footprint, Stinking A$$ Dog Farts she produces! She can be outside where she could let loose, OH NO, She has to come in the house and lay down at my feet and let loose. The smell is heart stopping, just think about what all those dogs are doing to our atmosphere. I think everyone East of California should have big fans to blow all the bad stuff to them so they can take care of the problem with out having to travel. I'm surprised California is not taxing farts from their citizens, maybe I'll send them an email and tell them they are missing out on tax revenue.

Good one Wildrat Now that's funny.  Just wait till the EPA reads that.  Or worse yet NY's Bloomberg.  He might get some ideas.
