Several years ago i ordered a magnetic bumper sticker off a web site that specializes in prank items, this bumper sticker said "i masturbate". I put it on the back of my buddy's wife's SUV where it stayed unnoticed for two weeks. One Saturday their daughter came home from college and walked in the house and went right up to her mom and said, mom do you masturbate? I was told that mom turned 10 shades of red and mumbled something but before she actually answered her daughter told her about the bumper sticker....needless to say she called me a few choice words. I would have loved to know how many other motorists saw that thing.

Seems like too much work just for me to screw with someone.

That's an interesting perspective. I find that the most effective -- and funniest -- practical jokes are the one that the joker takes the most time to plan... but then, that's just me...

I did not pull this one off, but my buddy's Son did.
We are planning to go down for Bike week last year (Myrtle Beach)
and my buddy and his friend are trailering their bikes down.
He is meeting his son and friend (also trailering down) on the way down.
his son has a surprise for his Dad, he has made a magnetic sign (big) that reads
" Honk for Gay Bikers - we ride em harder".
Now his son slips the sign on the drivers side door without either of them knowing.
They are tooling down I95 with people taking pictures and honking down 95.
they have not a clue why everyone is so friendly waving and honking and taking pictures.
The son and his buddy are following behind and observing the all of the comotion going on splitting their sides from laughing so hard.
This went on for hours untill they got caught removing the sign at a gas station to keep from being discovered.
They just thought the other motorists were really friendly toward bikers.

Had a friend tape newpaper pages on my windshield and rear window.  Waited until he took an afternoon off and went to the parking garage, told the security guard what I was doing, took him a cup of his favorite Starbusk and gave him a 20 to watch out for me.  I took some masking tape and taped up the firends windshield and rear window and then took an exacto knife and scored the tape diagonally.  Took him a while to take the piece off.  Most of them were about and inch wide.  He has since used it himself several times.

Another, quick one
We (me and 3 other) buddies are meandering around a Harley dealership and my 1st buddy that is always on the prowl spots the really pretty chick by herself admiring a street bob.
he breaks off from us and now is in a intense conversation with her and is making good progress.
now the rest of us are married so this cannot stand.
My other buddy waits and observes them and springs into action.
the girl has dropped to the floor to show the first buddy her ankle tattoo. (it was going real well)
The second buddy reaches in his pocket and takes out 3 c notes and walks over to the 1st buddy and hands them over to him
saying that he has won the bet! He never thought he would be able to get her on her knees in less than 15 min right there in the showroom.
We were rolling on the floor, and she got up and ran out of the showroom.
He did not even get her full name.
Ist buddy was hopping mad for about an hour, but everyone in the showroom was laughing hard.

Point taken!  The April Fool's prank I listed took some planning, but I didn't have to go out looking to purchase gay stickers.  Now I feel like I'm bashing here, so maybe I should add in the words of Jerry Seinfeld, "Not that there's anything wrong with that".
