Chrome Belt Guard
« on: November 18, 2005, 01:16:24 PM »

I put on a 2 into 1 pipe a while back and I noticed the black belt guard needs a face lift. Any of you guys with 2 into 1 or just chrome alcoholics put one one of these on ? I notice HD has a cover for the existing belt guard that may be fine.
I would like to see my options before I invest.

thanks in advance

Hey KingSalmon....

Go to the Gallery section and there's picture of my bike with the belt cover on it...you can kinda see it...

I have the V&H propipe and also thought that the left side was a little naked.

Phattey, looks real good, glad to see your gallery.  I have this part as well.  WFP pointed out to my husband this spring, that with the propipe the left side looked a little naked.  We also just ordered the chrome sprocket to go in that area as well.  Thanks Bill for helping me spend my money.   ;D ;D ;D

I am mentally adding up the cost of this sprocket and belt cover because we don't have a pipe on the left.  Maybe it may be cheaper to just buy a falsie for the left side if available with your 2 into 1 pipes.   [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=nervous.gif]

Mrs I have already done the sproket and belt guard. It looks great with no pipe on that side!!!

I too added the Sprocket along with the Lower Belt Guard, and I have pipe (Rinehart) on that side. Either I'm obsessed with chrome or stupid... [smiley=nixweiss.gif] Heh, but you can see it really good when I have it jacked up and detailing bike  ;D
