Load equalizer placement
« on: February 23, 2009, 12:24:04 PM »

I want to add front and rear LED turn and brake lights and understand I will need to install a load equalizer. I would prefer to install one that does not get hot but the upgraded ones are a bit bulky and I'm wondering if there's still enough room under the seat as the PCIII and run brake turn signal module has already been squeezed into that space.  I doesn't look like there's enough room. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

Unless I'm talking out of my hat..  if you do both the front and rear you will need two SLE's

In my defense I did purchase one a long time ago and this may have changed so do your homework before making my mistake.

There is just enough room infront of the battery compartment and before the tank..  look for your two grounding lugs and you will see where I'm talking about. Just to be careful, use foam insulation tape on the SLE and the wiring where it may rub.

Easy to install.
