My Harley Bedroom
« on: March 14, 2009, 12:48:22 PM »

I was lucky enough to build a new house about 5 years ago (before the crash of my 401K) and one of the things I did was modify one of the rooms in my basement to become my "Harley Bedroom".  I took out a window, added french doors and had a "Harley driveway" (a four foot wide cement sidewalk) poured from the back of the house all the way to the road. Part of the "sidewalk" is actually a ramp into the door so I can ride right into the house.

It seem to be a notable addition as all of my motorcycle-friendly neighbors make a point to show it off to their visitors at some point before they leave.

Here are a few pics to show you how it turned out.  (The gray t-shirt was signed by Willie G. while I was at the Club HOG Rally in Chattanooga in 2005)

Hope you enjoy them.....

Very very cool  :2vrolijk_21:  :2vrolijk_21: .

I live in an apartment with my wife, I have a couple of small motorcycles around the living room and I'm getting flack for that.
I wish I had a Harley room. So you are one lucky man!!!!

Great room, I asked my wife to consider it and now I have the dog house all to my self. Jake loves being in the house.

Thanks for all of the nice words.  My wife and I are firm believers that we are very lucky people and we are thankful for that everyday.

Again, we built this way before all of the economy issues and we both know that we couldn't do this today.  For that, sometimes I feel like I can't show you all of this because it may be seen as bragging!  But I'm just proud of what we saved all of our lives for!

Have a great St Patrick's Day and have a pint for me.......
