Hey, eaglethumper!

The RJS heat shields use black velcro tape to mount the shields. They aren't bolted down, but they won't come off -- as I learned over 16K miles on my 07FLTR.

I don't have them on my SERG... yet... So, I'm not sure exactly where the frame-mounted velcro strips are going to be. However, since the frame is black and the velcro strips are black, they won't be obvious.

Just a quick question... why take them off... ever? These really look good on the bike and even in winter, there's no real need to take them off the bike. I considered them a permanent accessory on my '07.

I'm having to splurge for a few "extras" for the little lady's 07FLSTC to keep her from complaining about my SERG and mods. So far, so good. ;)
