Catalytic converter in '09 CVO
« on: March 14, 2009, 05:24:32 PM »

My dealer told me that only the CA models have a CC this year - I think he's wrong.  I saw the demo by Jim of the removal of his and he lives in Chicago.  Who's right?

I think I'll post it up to lack of knowledge vs. dishonesty.  I have a small dealership and I have the only SERG they've sold.   They are a good group of guys and have always done right by me.

Thanks for the replies -

All '09 CVO touring bikes have a cat in the head pipe. All 103 or 110 stage kits come with a cat head pipe (california). All 96" Ca bikes have a cat in the head pipe. 49 state 96" touring bikes have no cat in the head pipe. Gets confusing, no? Then you have overseas configurations!
Hope this clears it up a little!

See how high they'll go on a bet. Don't forget the one in the cross over pipe as well.

I don't think there's a cat in the crossover pipe.

Looks like the core bit would only get half the CC. By looking at this picture I'm glad I went with a after market setup.

Agreed on the 1/2. I went w/ the stock non - cvo and dyno tune gets done next week. I think that and the fullsac 2" is going to be a great ticket. :2vrolijk_21:
