I had a feeling these paint color issues might pop up. If it doesn't come from the factory with it all on, there is risk.
reason why I just ordered used off ebay and painted to match, with a bit more customization.

Never heard of a picky insurance company adjuster.
Now that's an oxymoron

Okay gents / gals,

Have another update.
My dealer stepped up and took care of me. My sales guy stated that the lowers will be sent to a place of my choice for repainting on their dime. He agreed the lowers were not a 100% match and the easiest way to resolve the non matching paint was to send the lowers off to a real painter. The good news, the painter that will do the lowers paints for Dave Perewitz / famous bike builder here in New England - Discovery Channel biker build off stuff. The painter feels very confident that he can match the lowers to the titanium paint of the SERG no problem.

Thanks for all of the feedback and concern but I think the lowers will be fine now. All I can say to everyone is, please don't settle for any little thing on these CVO’s as we pay a lot of money for a bike that should be nearly perfect, which includes painted parts from the MOCO.

To the riders of the Silver SERG that received exact matching lowers for the MOCO, I'm happy you don't have to go through this.

Take care.

My lowers came back from the local painter today and look good.  Had the speaker pods matched at the same time. Maybe the CVO paint isn't so unique after all.  Will send pics after they are back on.  Dealer came through with flying colors. (Deeley's Vancouver) :apple: :mango:
