That's why I had to have it.  Especially with its bluetooth tie-ins between the helmet and phone adding to the GPS's functionality the Garmin unit is just too convenient not to have when on the road.

I have found that with several hundred songs loaded in the Garmin unit I use the XM much much less.  Enough so I didn't even get the module for this radio.  The HD radio actually intrigues me more.  But not enough to buy it.

I am in the same situation.  Except I have the 01 SERG.  The aux Jack in front doesn't work with an IPOD.  The manual states it's for CD input?  I don't know why.  (I have another thread going on this subject) The bike comes with a 12 cd changer in the tour pak, the radio has a cassette player, AM FM, WB.  The only thing that works "for now" is one of those cheap fake cassettes with a wire + plug jack (P/J) that I plug the Ipod into.

I have seen adds on E-bay for CD radios and they say that they are compatible from 98 -05.  My 05 SEEG Aux input says "AUX" and my IPOD does work there.

Can anyone confirm this compatibility?  If I go that route the CD in the trunk will be useless and the bike becomes less original.  Not what I really wanted. But I can always just keep the old radio in a box with all of the rest of the "ORIGINAL" parts.

Again, any input is appreciated!  to view the various modes that the IPOD doesn't work on my present radio, please go to
