Tour-Pak Lid Organizer
« on: February 11, 2006, 09:45:57 AM »

One thing I really miss on my SEUC is an organizer for the tour-pak lid. I had a great one from H-D in my King Tour-Pak (P/N 53661-86T) but it's too large for the new leather covered tour-pak on CVO's. They're a great place to stash extra riding glasses, gloves, sunblock, maps, etc. Anybody found something new?

I kind of like my pile of 'junk in the trunk' to be quite honest. , Actually , would be interested in an organizer also. 5 pairs of glasses, 3 pairs gloves, head phones, CD's, hat, assorted coupons for fast food that the wife fells is a must etc. ......... They probably were planning it on the original designs, but when they saw how the paint was coming out, figured they better cut some corners and save up some money for potential future lawsuit settlements.

I'm about at the point where I may just buy a regular Ultra tourpak and have it painted, I don't mind the look of the leather pack, but it is significantly smaller than the other, and just not as functional for me, and my wife ain't real tickled about the backrest either.......

That's a great idea FR8TRN. I've got a King Tour Pak stored in my garage that would sure be nice on long trips. [smiley=dankk2.gif]

Well if your staying with the original seat, the MoCo makes a backrest for the regular tourpak to match it now, so you'll be all set.  Does your's have the lights on the back???  I really want one from an Ultra with the lights.....

Take a look at the MoCo 54014-05 wall organizer.  It will almost accomplish the same as the lid version.  Yes this will reduce the space even more in the pack, but at least it's something.
