I was over to Chattahoochee HD in Columbus Ga last Sat and I'd seen a Silver in the back last time that was all stripped down to get a bunch of mods and powder coating done. I asked if it was still there and they let me go back to see the progress. I turned the corner and stopped dead in my tracks with my mouth agape
There was a batwing fairing hanging off the front! They told me this guy wanted it on there and he was going to have it painted to match (it was blue).
Now, he'd also done some pretty cool powdercoating in gloss black...both wheels, air cleaner and passenger backrest are the standouts. I think that he had a two-into-one exhaust in flat black on there too but I just couldn't wrap my mind around the fairing.
I don't believe he'd even ridden the bike yet...not much anyway if he did. He'd traded an 04 or 05 SE Electra Glide in on it so he may be a member here and if so, sorry buddy, I didn't mean to let the cat out of the bag if you were waiting to surprise us.
No, I didn't take any pics. My phone was in my pocket but I wasn't going to take pics of someone's work in progress without permission.
Suffice it to say, it'll be the baddest batwing in the valley when he's done
BTW, I asked, he's keeping the shark nose in case he wants to swap back.
