I will be getting my new RG soon and am thinking about a tourpak. Do I have to buy a black one and get it painted or odes HD have one the orange color? How much should I budget for this improvement? T.

HD has both chopped and king tour paks for the orange SERG3. $1200.00 before you start adding to it.

Can I order that through Chicago HD? They seem to have the best prices. Will they ask me for proof of ownership of a cvo? How long is the wait? T.

I waited a couple of months for my chopped. Depends on when they run them through the paint line. If you're gonna do the spoiler I'd suggest ordering at the same time although mine came much quicker than the t.p. Bought the t.p. from my selling dealer so there was no challenge as to "protected" but I'd bet it's not. Don't forget all the other stuff you'll need, i.e. backrest, keyed to match lock, 4 point mounting bracket and detachable rack. Interior lights?

Chicago H-D can get you all you need less 20% plus no tax. there is no proof of ownership required as it is not a CVO specific thing. But be warned, some who have gone this route have had probs with the colors not matching, I know, go figure. and, It's an expensive do. Shop Ebay for the TP you want and paint it>

Don't see why not, his claim was that he would not do one like mine in the colors of mine. call him up

My King TourPack matches perfectly and was painted by HD.
