It's a great bike but I'm thinking about selling it to get a CVO Road Glide. What are they going for now? I have extras like heal/toe shifter/Corbin Gunfighter seat, crash bar, Boss bags and tank bag, etc.

A San Diego dealer offered $16,500 on a trade for a CVO Ultra Classic 9 months ago.  Mine is purple & orange and has 38,000 miles.  No idea what a private sale will bring.

Ouch is right.  That's why I'm still riding it.  I'm going to wait and see what 2010 has in store for us.

If it has low miles and no obvious flaws then I believe the number would be around $20K for a private sale.

I have seen our bikes goanywhere from $20k to $21.5k on Ebay.

Funny enough, the 05 SE Fatboys seem to do better.

I was on Kijiji last night and I came across an 06 CVO fat boy for $4,600 Canadian. Too good to be true right? So I sent off an email to set up a viewing. Here is the email I got back:

2006 Screaming Eagle Fat Boy. 103 cubic inch engine Add ons include: Vance and Hines pipes; detachable windshield; detachable bags; detachable back rest; chrome swing arms, chrome engine guard with pegs. Comes with a single seat and double seat easily changed out as needed. Also comes with CVO cover. Excellent condition. Has never been in an accident and needs nothing at this time.It comes with clear title, bill of sale, keys, helmet,jacket, bike cover.
I want $4,600 for the bike and the reason I'm selling for so low is because it's the only asset I have that can be turned fast into cash.
Unfortunately, I'm on a business trip right now so I can only sell you through an escrow company.
I can probably pay for shipping but I  need your postal code to make sure.

This reeks of scam...I'll bet she'll want the cash up front in the "escrow company" before you even see the bike.  Even if she's in need of fast cash, she could easily sell that bike for 15K Canadian.  Remember the old adage:  "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."  Be careful with this one.

I am on kijiji all the time and you see the exact same ad in all catagories. You can buy a new boat, truck, car, harley and its always around $5000.

After I got the above email I went on Kijij to check it out again. The ad has been removed. No surprise there. Also the bike was listed for sale in the same city where I live so the bit about shipping makes no sense.
