 ::) ::) ::)

Thanks.  Read the info.  Looks very good.  I'll try the KW and see what it's like.

I like my HD 10".  For me its great.  Two up too much buffeting.

The Road Glide guys in my chapter love the KW.

Diamond back,
If you want to try the cee bailey winshield i have an extra 1 or 2 for the SERG, they are much stronger with less buffeting than the KW on the SERG.

give me your opinion on this ,I have been riding with the 6.5 on my street glide and the cvo,my new klockwerks 10.5 came in and i did a quick test ride on saterday and I am not sure about looking through a w/shield again, havent done it since my heritage days,I do kinda wish it was about 8"
Will have to give her another try It did kick that wind way out and up at speed and still keep that good feel on the front, and that is what I like about those w/shields

I have been reading with interest about all the beefs in regards to the windshield heights. I could not find a windshield with the proper height so I bought a 12" stock Harley windshield and used the old one as a template and layed it over the new one, adjusted the height to make it 2" shorter and scribed it. including all the slots, masked it off and cut the bottom off with a die grinder, it cut like butter. If you use the guide of looking at an object set at 50 feet out front of the bike and determine if you want to see through or over you can get it perferct for yourself every time. By cutting the bottom off you maintain the factory edge and no one will ever know.

 :) :) :) :) :)

Just installed my 10.5" KW which relative to HD shields is actually 12".  It's dark so I didn't ride.

I can look over the top but it is probably to close.  I wish they had a 8.5" but I am going to try it for a while.  I'll attach pictures tomorrow.

I am pretty sure the 6.5" which measures 8 is not what I am looking for.  Two up wind protection.

We'll see.

BTW it looks great on the bike.  Bought the tinted version.

 :( :( :( :( :(

Here we go.

Before I even rode the bike I called KW and asked about the height of the 10.5" KW.  It is actually 12" above the base of the shield.  Which is too high for me to not have to fight the sight line.  They want me to ride it any way and are working with me to figure out if the 6.5" will work (it won't but I'll try it).

I did ride the bike with the 10.5" shield for about thirty minutes (all I could handle).  The sight line is right in the middle of my view.

The shield looks great on the bike but I noticed one annoying thing.  The Shield itself vibrates too much for my taste at idle.  Moving it was not an issue, but at idle the shield vibrated.

Thus, I'll try the 6.5 and see if it works.  However, I am looking at the Cee Bailey 13" which is the equivalent of the 10"

Took no pictures because its no longer on the bike.
