V & H big Radius 2 into 2 baffles
« on: May 24, 2009, 11:46:10 AM »

Are the baffles removable? I removed the screw at the back of the pipe and tried getting the baffle out with no success. I was going to try to wrap a little fiberglass around the baffle to quiet it slightly If I can get it in there.

I don't think that they are. I think that it is a performance issue.

Yes, They will come out, Have removed them on two different sets and replaced them with Thunder Monster baffels. They do fit tight, Bend a hook on a heavy wire then hook it on the baffel and pull, they will come out.

I removed mine too and swapped to the Big City Thunders, but I thought there was a rivet or something that had to be removed?  My mind is fading. Once I did that, they came out withouth much of a problem.

Gutter man

they are so tight i really don't think you will be able to wrap in fiberglass and get them back in.  :coolblue:

I actually think my Big City Baffles would allow a single wrap. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but my BR have always had a slight rattle at certain RPM's that drives me nuts. I'm sure it's the shields, but I'm actually thinking about tearing the whole thing apart to do a thorough rattle prevention treatment.
