What would the Turkish gov't do with complainers of the national flag :nixweiss:

There are some laws protecting the flag. For example you cant burn Turkish flag at a public demonstration its punishable with prison and fines. :drink:

Get rid of the complainer.....remember they were in the USA.

to be politically correct.....would this happen in Great Britain, Australia, Japan.....?

f$%*in americans have turned into a pussy nation and have forgotten about their country
I am with you, the complainer should have been told, this is in America, in an American owned company, if you do not like it go back to the third world country you came from.

This is PC gone nuts.

This seems to be where it is now in Vouge to put America down, especially by some groups.  We even had a tour of Appoligies for America travel all over the world saying what a bad country we are.

Sure makes me wonder why my wife and I both served 20 years in the Navy

Unbelievable!

The wife and I own a childcare center and preschool.  We PROUDLY fly the flag outside and inside.  Every day the preschool session begins with The Pledge of Allegiance.  Each year we have a preschool graduation ceremony where the kids perform several songs before getting their diplomas.  We ALWAYS end with them singing Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood.  Hearing 60-70 4 & 5 year-olds proudly belting out this song sends chills up and down your spine and puts tears in your eyes.  The families rave about it.

We then ask all active duty, reservists and veterans and their families to stand and give them the thanks they deserve for the sacrifices they make in keeping our country free.

To all of our CVO brothers and sisters who have ever served this great country, I say THANK YOU for your efforts in keeping and protecting our freedoms  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Below are the first few verses of Lee Greenwood's song.

EAGLE SOARS

Artist: Lee Greenwood
Title: Proud To Be An American

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.

I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘ Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

That is my Favorite Song.

First time I heard it was pulling back into home port on my Tin Can after a 6 month Deployment to the Persian Gulf.  And it sure brought a tear to my eye.
