    • CVO1: 2010 Street Glide CVO Spiced Rum

I have a 2010 Spiced Rum Street Glide CVO. Talked with Steve several times and made decision to go with Fullsacs for Scotr upgrade. I ordered the new X-headpipe, 2 1/4 inch power cores, set of Andrews cams and Cometic .030 head gaskets. I had the H.D. race tuner installed when I purchased Scotr.

I installed the new power cores on my stock mufflers. Took about 5 hours. Then took Scotr and all to H.D. dealer. They were as anxious as I. Three days later it was done.

WOW!! One hell of a machine. When riding this Scotr there is NO drama at all! The dyno at H.D. dealer with the 2 1/4 inch cores is 100 h.p. A 6176 RPM and 105.7 ft/lb torque @ 3690 at the real wheel. The original dyno with vance and hines slip ons and race tuner was 84 h.p. and 99 max torque at rear wheel. The deep deep rumble I get from the cores is amazing. It is not an obnoxious sound just a very deep rumble. I love it! XM radio is very important to me.  This is a job well done by Steve and local H.D. dealer. If you are planning to upgrade your bike make sure you call Steve at 1-928-505-2912. Don't miss this one!

Steve,

The dyno is attached to this post. I had my sweetie scan and put it on desktop. She's awesome. I was off one number from post. I should have looked at dyno sheet before posting, Sorry! The real numbers are 100 h.p. @ 6176 RPM and 105.7 ft/lb @ 3690 RPM. I will fix in post also. Very hard to read curve, but results are at top of dyno page.

that is exactly why i installed the Andrews 54 cams. They are mid-range cam. Because of weather i have only rolled 3 times. But she is one heck of a machine.

How does the fulsac cores sound level compare to the V&H basic slip-ons? I have heard the V&H slip-ons and like the deep rumble but may be too loud to listen to the radio and talk to the back seat rider while cruising.

Through my experience, The V&H slip-ons have a nice deep rumble. It was never a problem for my wife and i to communicate when riding. They are very nice pipes. The Fullsac cores are louder, deeper rumble but it is what i want on the Scotr for now.

I think the V&H are a very nice slip-on and for the money, if someone was interested in them it would be a very good deal. It's half price and the pipes are like new. Less than 3000 mile on them. There is one scratch on the bottom of one of them and you can see it in the picture. That is the only one. The scratch would be down and towards the bike when installed. So know one would ever see it.
