They plug in  at the O2 sensor, right where it connects into the harness. Unplug the sensor and plug the XiED inline. One for each exhaust.

I was thinking about this option as I am a warranty worry wart.  Where do you plug in.  Also is the a/f data stored to where the dealer could find it??  Most of my riding is done in other states and my consern is failure on a trip.

The devices are installed by unplugging the wires to the O² sensors and then plugging one end of the IED/XIED wire to the connector going to the sensor and the other end to the wire going to the ECM.  The device basically intercepts the signal from the O² sensor and modifies it before it goes to the ECM.  The ECM will get a signal saying it's running 14.7:1 AFR, for instance, when it really is running 14.2 or 13.8.  If you remove them before taking the bike to the dealer, I don't know of any way they could figure out you had been using the devices.

Ok.  Thank you for both responses.  I think I will give em a try.  Is the website at the top of this thread the best place to buy them?  I also saw mixed results for both the the products.  Can anyone advise which would be better.  I have the Fulsac 1.75 and no other mods.

5 minute install or removal ,leaves no footprints your dealer will never know. really increases drivability on a stock machine.
