They plug in  at the O2 sensor, right where it connects into the harness. Unplug the sensor and plug the XiED inline. One for each exhaust.

I was thinking about this option as I am a warranty worry wart.  Where do you plug in.  Also is the a/f data stored to where the dealer could find it??  Most of my riding is done in other states and my consern is failure on a trip.

The devices are installed by unplugging the wires to the O2 sensors and then plugging one end of the IED/XIED wire to the connector going to the sensor and the other end to the wire going to the ECM.  The device basically intercepts the signal from the O2 sensor and modifies it before it goes to the ECM.  The ECM will get a signal saying it's running 14.7:1 AFR, for instance, when it really is running 14.2 or 13.8.  If you remove them before taking the bike to the dealer, I don't know of any way they could figure out you had been using the devices.

Ok.  Thank you for both responses.  I think I will give em a try.  Is the website at the top of this thread the best place to buy them?  I also saw mixed results for both the the products.  Can anyone advise which would be better.  I have the Fulsac 1.75 and no other mods.

5 minute install or removal ,leaves no footprints your dealer will never know. really increases drivability on a stock machine.
