Unfortunately, these are the same people who get the free HOG membership with their new purchase.

Amen Brian.  I'll ride with anyone here anyplace we've got time to go.  But the flowery rides of happy people on their brand new Sportsters with the shiny leathers and pretty boots and helmets without a scuff really are way beyond my skill level; I'm sure they don't need me at all.

I switched from Connecticut to Ohio license and they marked my license as Novice since it is the first year of endorsement in Ohio, which means only that you have to wear a helmet. Where it hurts is that I don't have the 1 year experience required to rent a Harley.......even though I been riding since I was 12 years old and on the street since 16.

Why not just keep the old prior state's driver license in your wallet too.  If you're renting someplace flash the one that does you the most good?

Unfortunately, many states require that you surrender your old license when you get your new one.
