HD center stand
« on: July 16, 2009, 08:58:09 AM »

I should have done more research, that center stand is worthless the bike is too dam heavy and stand foot peg is too short. Did I install it wrong? it is right under the pass foot rest.

Yep.
I made the same mistake - and ricked my back trying to get the bike on the stand.
Other threads here suggest that you set the stand so that the wheel just touch the ground.
I wanted mine off the ground to allow me to clean the rear wheel.
I have been told there is a knack to using the stand - I just cannot find it :nixweiss:
cheers
