“No officer, I have no idea how fast I was going …” might not cut it in this situation. Philip Odegard, scion of the Odegard Media “empire,” apparently likes to wring out his Bugatti Veyron on public roads at extralegal speeds, and had the misfortune of apparently being pulled over after reaching more than 210 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. The road in question is CA Route 73, a toll road in LA. The fine?   :nixweiss:   :nixweiss:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:

How the heck did he get stopped?? At that speed I'd think he could outrun "Motorola". :nixweiss:

So, were you in the passenger seat or in hot pursuit in the Porsche. And, how in the world did they even get an estimated speed....Radar, new CHP Hayabusa, sure as hell wasn't a Crown Victoria..

Yuck it up folks, until the crazy SOB pulls that crap and loses control, killing who knows how many innocent folks.

Any place I've ever lived or visited would consider 210 in a 65 zone to be reckless driving of such a magnitude that instant arrest, incarceration, and impounding of the vehicle would be mandatory.  Are we to assume that this clown's wealth allowed him to just sign the ticket and drive away?

That's a fake or at least photoshopped ticket.  He'd have been booked and lost his car.  The statute isn't correctly used and the CHP would definitely know better.

Here is what happens when a bike hits a car at approximately 150 MPH.  Everybody in the car was killed too.  I suppose that at 200 mph it just cuts the car in half.
