I had the engine replaced at 9k with all the upgrades on it, now at 20k and no problems.  I am loving it.   :2vrolijk_21:

Go for it.

Update:

faulty rockerbox gasket - comparatively small leckage. Should be fixed by new gasket. Evidently caused when high-compression pistons were installed. So nothing against the MoCo  ;)

Got more than 19,000 miles on my '08 CUSE (built end of May, '08) and no leaks at the cylinder or head.  I did have a gasket failure at the oil filter adapter AND I had a rear cylinder compression release fail, both fixed under warranty.  Runs strong.

I took my 08 back to the dealer three days ago for leaks.  I had the upgrade installed 6,000 miles ago.  Looks like some get done right the first time and others don't.

Similar story, 13000+ miles on my 09 Softail Springer,  & no seepage or leaks either
