A 2007 Victory...I don't know what the model is called...He has been stranded with out of town twice with numerous electrical issues, had the transmission replaced under warranty, had the starter replaced under warranty, has lost a wheel bearing and has serious peeling chrome - and several lesser issues. His first and last Victory...

WOW!! That has got to hurt!! The only experience that I have with Victory is a guy I used to work with bought a 2007 vision (he also owns a 07 night train, 09 bonneville, and an 04 tiger). He rides to work year round, like I do, but last I heard he had absolutely no problems with his victory. His victory quickly became his daily driver, especially in the winter. I'll have to call him and see how the bike is treating him, but last I heard he was loving it. My only exception with Victory is product support. Harley dealers are everywhere, and Victory not as much. That being said I've been to several HD dealers that I wouldn't trust to check the air pressure in my bike, let alone have a part I need in stock, or perform any substantial repairs. That being said, I am not bashing Harley at all, just feel like they should've stepped up their game a couple of years ago.

Hi Scott

My friend has an 08 Victory. He's been lucky so far, no issues. The bike rides nice but OMG that puppy is butt ugly! Harley for me! I just don't want them getting complacent.
