has anybody just added 2 into 1 pipe and done nothing else,(kept the stock a/c, no tuner or re-map, just the stock setup and pipe. keep getting different stories from different people as to how it would preform.

Per D and D Exhaust, the 2 into 1 Boss with the stock high flow A/C does not require a tuner, remap etc.

but everyone else suggests a re-map, saying the generic download thats on that ultra isn't sufficient.

Contact D and D Exhaust Tech staff at 817-834-0996. Their claim is no tuner, no remap with the stock high flow AC and you are set to go.

I have the 2 into 1 Boss set up on my 09 SERG, did the baseline with the D and D 2 into 1, no tuner, no remap w/ stoch AC. HP - 85 / TQ -99, running lean. Added the SE Pro Tuner w/ 6 hours of Dyno time and dialed it in, HP - 98 / TQ - 114, with AF flatlined. You asked if anybody added the 2 into 1 pipe and did nothing else the result is above, if you are looking for more power, you will need to do more, whether it be SERT, PC V, etc.

thanks for the info, leaning towards the thundermax w/ autotune, when it comes out. my local harley shop will still warranty the motor if they install this or the sert

Cause it doesn't exist for elec. throttle and has not come forward as promised... and you will loose to many items like 6th indicator when you replace the ECM.

it has actually been known to untune some bike. Everyone I've known to have it, Had it., got rid of and sold to the next guy on Ebay
