FXR Comments
« on: June 18, 2009, 05:20:02 PM »

Numerous bagger buddy's at the Rocket Ranch (Kennedy Space Center) have commented that my 1991 FXRS-SP Low Rider is a girls bike. I have heard the same said about the Sportster 883's. Is an FXR just a Sportster in S 8)heeps Clothing?

They obviously do not know any HD history and probably do not know what an EVO is.  Who cares.

Bagger (FLH??) and FXR = same lineage
Tell your bagger buddies to get used to looking at your tail light 'going away'
Obviously you are much too young for a Winnabago style bike with the BGs on the sound system........mabey in a decade or two
Evil didn't jump over stacks of buses with a bagger..

You know this boy is getting fiestier every day....LOL.... :pepper:   but remember that man rides with a chicken...LOL

rocketranch~~

As for what your buddies think about an FXR being a "girls" bike....lol....hmmm well Harley was surprised themselves that the head of the Hell's Angels apparently felt good enough about the model that he "toured" on one.....but hey whose to say that person is a man's man....I am just sayin....the truth of the matter is that for any man or woman that is 5' 7" --- 5' 11" they will find out for themselves how fun of a ride it is and yet for anyone outside of those numbers they may still find the bike fun to ride but maybe not for as long, if they are taller they might find the bike a bit small for them, if they are shorter...well it's the same old story of any bike feeling too big for them....

Check out this link you might find some of the "HISTORY" INTERESTING.....simply click and view:

FXR HISTORY

Seems a lot of people are having some fun reading about these bikes....a fairly popular read.

Regards,

Tim
