According to V & H:

Basic Slip-ons for 2009 Harley-Davidson Touring models are the prerequisite to all other performance             upgrades. With a tapered nose cone that opens to a four inch diameter muffler body, finished with a slash-cut end and tuned with a 2-1/4 inch louvered core baffle, Basic Slip-ons deliver bold sound and performance in a timeless style.   ($398.87)

Fullsac #3024  2.25” CVO Muffler Cores ($139.00)  They's give a CVO ciscount.

So, yes, they are "comparable."  Note, you will loose power with the 2.25" baffles unless you have other mods to take advantage:  Muffler core Dyno Test! 2.25 vs 2.0 vs 1.75. Is bigger better?  No, it's not.

I intend to do a TTS mastertune and remove the cat. The amount of power you will lose between 2" and 2 1/2" is only noticable on the dyno. I don't think you can fell it in the seat of your pants. IMHO
