Restoring MTE File
« on: August 12, 2009, 12:01:46 PM »

Here are the 3 screens you need to be concerned with to restore your MTE File once you have it saved if you want to put it back into the bike.  The com port etc need to already be correct otherwise you must do the necessary setup to get your dongle and cables communicating with the bike.

Here is how it should look other than the ALDL not responding part and you see that because I do not have the dongle currently hooked up to the bike or to the computer or that I do not have the bike in the RUN position on the handle bars.   Basically saying I do not have a connection from the software completed to the bike / ECM.

Hope this helps show you have easy it really is to load the map back into the bike.

Harry will those save to a excel file?  If so, the pages then could be written cell by cell into the sest??  I am interested in getting a factory settings map to build into the sest...Capece?
