Dang! I went thru my stack and stops at May 2004! [smiley=nixweiss.gif] I will look in up stairs bathroom, my boys enjoyed reading it too! Also passed a few on to my boss and will see if it's in his stack.  [smiley=confused5.gif]

Checked upstairs and found Dec and Jan., Now I'm on a mission! Let you know if I strike gold.

Naitram, you lookin for the bagger popping a wheelie or is it something else?

I saw a fatboy with the dragonfly fairing at a local dealer this past week. It took me offgaurd for a second. The bike had the fairing and also the hard saddlebags. At first I thought it was a EG for a brief moment. I walked by it and did a double take and went back. It was the fatboy wheel that made me stop and relook the bike over. It looked really nice, got me to thinking I might wanna do that to my bike and have a most unique CVO.

naitram,

Have you also looked at the Trike shop fairing? It gets installed on the windshield clips. http://www.trikeshop.com/accessories.php?PAGE=2  The Dragonfly gets bolted on, they say too much weight to use the windshield clips and they say it keeps thieves from an easy bag. You may also want to check this link they have brackets for fairing and bags http://www.mckayscyclecreations.com/

I checked into the Trike shop and Dragonfly fairing but no clearance for my tach. I found a 2003 batwing fairing off a wrecked bike and will probably make my own brackets similar to the mckaysyclecreations brackets. I’m not sure if all will get done this year as my funds have been depleted getting the wife a new bike recently.

Here’s I go hijacking the thread, sorry naitram but I have to answer a couple questions.

I was testing you to see if anyone really reads these posts, good catch sefatboyscott. I really hate putting the windshield on my bike, honestly, but when I go on a long trip putting on over 300 miles in a day especially when rain is prevalent I want to set it up with a batwing fairing and hardbaggs. I have been working on this for about two months and probably won’t be done this year because of funds and time. But that’s the plan sorry to disappoint you. Btw putting 12k on my bike in the past year was done 90% of the time with no plastic or fiberglass.

Thanks for the interest spyglide, I was going to post the news once it’s a done deal.  I found a 05 deluxe with 10 miles in dark cherry with all the extras. The holdup is the bike was won in a raffle and the owner never had the coa transferred to a clean title so I have to wait another few weeks, “I hope”.
