detachable seat bolt loose?

Hello all, I keep loosing my detachable seat bolt, anyone else have this problem, any suggestions???

I have lost them before... I now use a lock nut and pliers to tighten.......have not lost one since.

Preferably Stainless other then that one that fits....  8)

I use a ss lock washer and have no problem.  Without it the bolt was constantly coming loose.  When I want ot remove the seat, I grab th bolt from the bottom so that the washer doesn't drop onto the paint...

I use a small O ring.  It compresses enough to keep the bolt tight, doesn't dig into the chrome, and can't damage anything if it falls.  Cheap, keep several on the bike.  You cannot tighten it so much by hand, that it cannot be reomoved by hand.

I just replaced mine again this weekend...that makes 2 that I have lost so far. I am going to have to try some of the above suggestions to keep it in place this time.
