Where can you find heatsheild springs for Rhinehart Exhausts.  They're not listed on their website.

Why did they ever change to them ugly hose clamps  :nixweiss: :nixweiss: IMO the springs are the way to go. My 04 has the True Duals with the spring set up. They hold just as good as the hose clamps, a lot easier to install/reinstall the shields. and look 100% better then hose clamps. Bring back the spring  :confused5:

When the tabs that hold the clamps to the heat shield break (and they all eventually will), then you can drill small holes and add the springs to salvage the heat shield and save $$$ from not having to buy new chromed heat shields.  :2vrolijk_21:   har.  spyder

Yeah. Someting I always look forward to do. Drill holes in a heat shield. No fun trying to pull them with a needle nose either.

I was thinking thats why you hated the springs.. Try this tool, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PRO-CIRCUIT-EXHAUST-PIPE-SPRING-PULLER-TOOL_W0QQitemZ260468764211QQcmdZViewItem or make one out of some heavy gauge wire) and you will fall in love with the springs. Installing/Uninstalling with one of these is a snap  :2vrolijk_21:

saw the tool.. still don't like 'em.   the hose clamps are much cleaner looking and to me much easier to work with,    5/16 nut driver and a socket wrench is all you need.
